President’s Report – April 2010
Hi Everybody
I am just reminding you all that there is no meeting tomorrow. The next meeting will be on Thursday May 6th at a new venue. We are meeting at Frankston Lifesaving Club at 7.00 am. The club is upstairs – above Waves Restaurant. We will be providing a continental breakfast and the cost will be $15.00 – a considerable saving on breakfast at Daveys. It would be good if as many members as possible came along to vote on whether you think this would be an appropriate venue for future meetings. Hopefully, I will get a proper President’s Report out before that meeting.
One other important item for your diary is May 7th. The brand new Peninsula Rotaract Club is holding its Charter Night at Frankston International, Nepean Highway, Frankston. As we are co-founders of this club with the Rotary Club of Seaford-Carrum Downs, it would be appreciated if as many members as possible and their partners attended this night where we will be presenting the club with their Charter Certificate. I believe the cost will be about $25.00 a head. More advice in my next report.
Cheers
President Judy
